Well done Rob - Tom thought it was in Evesham after further thought on the matter but I didn't think it was as I go to Evesham regularly and didn't think it was where I had seen it. Just proves that you don't always notice places right under your nose!

The pictures referred to above have now been re-located so many thanks to those who helped in bringing this to a conclusion. There you go Thomas.....the power of POE! Lol

Thanks Ron and Stephanie! At first glance, I thought that the church might be St. Mary's in Adderbury (Oxfordshire), but the exterior features didn't add up. Stephanie's identification of the Worcester locations jogged something in my increasingly creaky memory and I came up with the Evesham church.

Stephanie--great call on the arch and building (which is Berkeley's Hospital, endowed in 1692)! I have passed under that arch as well and it was bugging me that I couldn't place it.
