Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. St. Francis of Assisi

It's been swelling the last several days. I had to babysit my grandson today...I know he didn't have much fun here with me being on the sofa most the day...but I couldn't help it, and he didn't want to go to his babysitters. I have an article about St. Francis and how in meditation and prayers he use to literally lift off the ground in "ecstacy"...how embarrased he would be, as he often had no idea he was off the ground either. He was an humble and pious man indeed. I have another wisdom to impart with you , maybe tomarrow. |

Wisdom from the book I was reading....advice from father to son....concerning life in general..The strong prey off the weak, but the wise ones prey off the strong. I always thought, what if we didn't have schools, how would we teach our kids?...Native American teachings...of the Symbol of Four. The first four creations were Sun, Moon, Water, and Earth. The first four laws of creation were life, unity, equality, and eternity. The first four seasons were Spring, summer, fall and winter. The four directions are East, south, North, and west. The four races of creation are Red, White, Black, and Yellow. The four senses of feeling are, seeing, tasting, hearing and smelling. The four guidelines toward self development are...Am I happy doing what I'm doing?, Am I adding to the confusion?, What am I doing to bring peace and harmony?, How will I be remebered when I am gone? The four requiremnts of good health are food, sleep, cleaniness and good thoughts. The four divisions of nature are spirit, mind, body and life. The four divisions of goals are, faith, love, work and pleasure. The four ages of development are, the learning age, the adoption age, the age of improvemnt, the age of wisdom. The four expresions of sharing are, making others feel like you care, an expression of interest, an expression of friendship, and expresssion of belonging. (they shoud be genuine expressions) From Twylah Nitsch..an Seneca Medcine Woman...when my grandfather taught me to do things, Moses Shongo, he taught me to do things in four, I feel good when I do things this way, I iron four things at an time, I clean four things at an time, it is amazing how it works.

Sometimes I can barely get the mouse to hold still for the interference...so I can type anything. Other times they mispell, make me look stupid, keep me from posting things, impersonate me, and make the web page go blank., keep the scanner going constantly and just general mayhem..etc. REfuses me to have an e-mial server that works. Makes nasty references to me also. Bad. Rotten to the core trouble-maker. Highly insecure individual. |
