We had to pull out of the first house as they were just messing around too much (after 9 months of waiting - even my pregnancies didn't drag so long!) and then we discovered that there were structural defects with it anyway so there are no regrets although it has cost us alot of time and money! The new house is only 2 minutes walk from where I was born and lived happily for my first 22 years. It is high up on a hill with a lovely view and a decent size garden. It needs some love having being empty for 12 months - we are stopping here while we get the water etc back on and get the heating working etc!!!
