Wayne is putting the England team first. He knows that his personal fealings towards John Terry could interfere with his game. Rather than risk the two of them playing badly,he is foregoing the chance to play. I cant stand football,but I admire his love for the team and would rather give  it a miss than ruin thier chances. He knows himself and his fealings.
