Forgive me if I question this issue but the BBC comissioned a poll aimed at local councils to provide information on any proposed council cuts planned for the next five years. (How they could forcast this with a General election looming I dont know as many council leaderships will change). They (the BBC). then instucted each of their BBC local radio stations to organise a debate on the findings to be aired on 1st March 2010. Whilst this was taking place they quietly released information outlining the BBC's own cuts. (Hopeing they could hide behind the heated arguments of the council debate I assume).
