I won't stay long as I have my grand-daughter here now, they went back to the hospital stayed most the night and finsihed some more meds through the IV, and did an ultra-sound, and localized cat scan on the apendicitis problem area and said it looked more normal now, took out the IV and they came back to the house here..she's been sleeping an lot, still says she hurts down in the area though this morning...eating very little. I guess we see if she continues to improve or not. Her dad is off day three again this week... Not good either in ways. One reason my kids can not get ahead in life or us right now are these absoulte constant "Medical Problems" going on...none of us together make in an day...what they can charge in one hour. Mr. Obama did not help us...nor an great many people either. Sometimes they don't help us either...I have little "family" or firends left from these days "centered" around the Medical insitutions...much to my displeasure...their exhorbant costs do not out-weigh their "kind" ways to their patients. Something honestly needs done with the situation. |

They went an bought her an birthday cake, as she missed her birthday with this ordeal. Just seems to take so much "energy" out an person in ways...esp me these days. How are things going your way, you seem to travel an lot...sometimes its good therapy "urmi"...I think you said it was ok to call you that. I guess I could stand to take some of Catheryn's painting lessons..see if it would make me relax an bit better. Day before I went from the kitchen toward my livingroom and watched an ambulance coming down the street, lights flashing headed to emergency hospital...out my big picture window in the livingroom. Erie feeling to say the least. Ron you still clapping your lights out and on...opps I mean hopping in an out of bed to do the light swtich? I'm sure Anna appreciates small little things like that done for her when she's not feeling well. I always had an "thing" about getting my feet messaged. Just something about it...just made all the aches an pains of the day melt away. |

Shirley, I will feel very happy if you call me Urmi. All my friends call me by that name. I am just sitting down to prepare a lecture on 'Leadership' that I have to deliver to some trainees in my Office on Monday.Thought I would just peep in and wish everyone before that.Gosh, it's really hot today! |

One of the best leadership books is Stephen Covey's "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." It's been around for over 20 years and most people still consider it a classic in the leadership field. Our temperature's creeping up too. In another month it will be really hot here.
