I had never watched Dr. Who that often until David Tennant took on the role.  And now I can't bear to watch anyone else playing the Doctor!  Just as well - I already have too many programs that I record on TiVo because I can't bear to miss them.

I remember back in the mid '60's' as a young teenager I was traveling by bus with my father to watch my loal football team. A middle-aged couple with a girl of about 14 yearsof age got on the bus, her father asked the driver if they could be home  as early as possible as his daughter wanted to watch Dr Who on tv that evening. My father turned to me and said' look how old she is and wants to watch Dr Who!. We considered it a childs prog and to this date I've never watched an episode some 45 years later. lol.

They've got the cheek to put another episode on tonight! What is the matter with the 8 million viewers that tuned in last week, or is it me?

C'mon BBC we deserve better than this from you...

Sorry Ron - we love it! My boys are big fans and I have grown to love it too now. We are all different Ron and have different tastes so it is good that the BBC cater for all and at least they are putting on something original instead of all the steady stream of reality programmes which are getting tedious now.

I am with you Barbara - I disliked Dr Who until David Tennant was Doctor. I think he is a great actor in all the programmes I have seen him in along with John Simm who played the Master. I think Matt Smith will be a good replacement though.
