True.... Peter... ussualy they are hanging under the carriage of airplanes, or along the port holes of huge ships, in the semi-trailer truck back-end.. or in tunnels in the ground even...in reguard to our border stiuation these days.  Never have heard of "repatraiation fees" what are they anyway...you guys have to pay to leave the country?

lol Shirley, only if you are dead.ie if (as with every country) a visitor dies whilst visiting, they can be buried here at the normal cost of a funeral or repatriated IN A COFFIN back to their country of origin. The cost of this of course is paid by the reletives or the deceased insurance policy.Smile

They were German nationals Krissy It was probly cheaper to travel as a passanger than by frieght. lol

People these days over here are wanting to be cremated into "toast" in which case, you could put an memorial stone back home..died in such and such place, in loving memory at such and such location on the stone, without the body ever being present there. You got to admit, lack of funds keeps us doing some reather "weird" things.

I think I would rather have the corpse sitting next to me on the plane than some of the rude and obnoxious louts who I've had to sit next to from time to time! No loud snoring at least--quiet as the grave!

As for me, cremation is the way to go once I join the Choir Invisible!
