You UKers really know how to do an election, I must say!  The PM picks a date one month out, calls the queen to dissolve parliament and it's all over and done with in 30 days.  That is absolutely brilliant!.  Our political campaigns go on for months and sometimes years. 

some would say that 30 days is too long Ruth, some of the 'dribble' that they and the press/media come out with. In the end you are only going to vote for the party that will benefit you as an individual (Hence voting in secret lol)
