Apparently a hacker has broken into my yahoo email account and is sending out emails to those in my address book that may contain a virus. If you receive an email that looks as though it is from me and is connected to a yahoo address DO NOT open it. Delete immediately! FYI - I never send out emails from yahoo and nor will I after this.

When you open them they are fake and contain viruses or trogen bugs. DONT open them, just delete completly. I dont get involved with F/Book or twitter for this very reason. Too many 'pratts' on there!!! |

So at present I don't have an email server at all, and its an real pain to try to communicate outside an web site without one. You have no idea all the genealogical information/contacts I lost. (Not that an good lot of it wasn't "fake" to being with these days also) What they did to me was made it impossible for me to log-in...it simply refuse my username and or the password also. Unless you "log in" to complain to yahoo..you do not get not talk to them to resolve anything..why do they not have an telephone number to handle difficult cases? I did find one eventually, it took me an hour to find it though.. and other people said in the comment section that its more or less not really there..they were never helped. Your on your own...or at the mercy of the person that did this to you. It takes an "sicko" to do things like this to begin with anyway in my estimation.Thier actions speak for themselves. They claim after 9 months, they close out your old account if its not been used...that alone sounds child-bearing sexual to me these days for some reason. I still say to not deal with anyone without an phone number, that' s current and working.. that backs up their business. I wish also, no "real" service, no fee's charged for something you do not have...I doubt they really are operating "for free" as an service from day one to begin with anyway. |

I cant imagine your circumstances out there in the US, but here in the UK. theres lots of help (some might say, too much) for out of work people. The worst part is loss of self esteem, feeling a failure and useless, thats what brings people to their knees. You must think positive and make the most of what you have. If you can manage to keep your roof over your head and eat at least one good meal a day you are a success, the rest will improve, I assure you. if you are in this position but still feel worthless, take a trip down to your local childrens hospital for a visit and ask them if they have any voluntary work until you find yourself a job. You will be surprised, seeing kids and there families who are really suffering, and being able to assist them in anyway, even if its only reading a storey to a 'sick' child, you will feel good in yourself and your self belief and esteem will grow. I seem to receive loads off e-mails from people I've never heard of, and know better than to open them, much less click on any links or attachments. Too bad these hackers can't channel their cleverness into real work. Who knows what good might be accomplished? Prayers and positive vibes continue for you and your employment search. My daughter just last week returned to work for the company that had laid her off in March 2009! She was unemployed most of the time since then except for a short stint at a similar firm. But out of the blue, her old boss called to tell her that someone had given their notice and would she be interested in coming back into that position. So they negotiated terms and she's back at work with a group of people she really likes, and apparently they're quite fond of her as well. I say all this just as a note of encouragement to you, Diana, to never give up. Perseverance and patience pay off in the long run. |
