And another Shirley...very different and not the version I recognize.

must tell you this little story,i have a large selection of cds with artists going back to the late 30s to the early /mid40s mainly big band artists.

i also have music from the 50s as well sinatra,martin,como,cornell,         my favorite female artist is helen forrest who sang with benny goodman,artie shaw and later with harry james, but one singer i had forgot about was   joni james   a lovely singer who was over shadowed by the likes of doris day,margaret whitting,jo stafford  if anyone sees her music i can recommend it.
