Nurse Cathy is at present so exhausted I don't know if I am on my head or heels. I've managed to walk Mike down the road half a block & back but then he needs to rest again for a while. The medication is making him woosy, and yesterday he tried to make coffee by pouring the boiling water into the tin of coffee - really very funny - but right now I don't think I can leave him alone too long, who knows what he might think up to do next! To make it worse South Africa doesn't seem to have had any international connection to the internet yesterday, so I couldn't even join my friends on POE for a little sanity/different insanity!! Other than that I am fine thank you all!

Bless you and Cathy E for your messages. Mike is not recovering as quickly as he had hoped and is a bit down about it, also battling with pain doesn't make it any easier for him, but we are hoping for improvement before too much longer. Thank you to all POE members who have sent prayers, messages and thoughts through this gruelling time. They have been VERY much appreciated. |

When I had my surgery a few years ago, just as I was on the way out, you know the stage, when you say things you don't mean to say, they rolled me over onto my front, and the Doctor told me I shouted out, "Don't let them see my butt". Even in a semi conscious state, I knew that horrible gown was going to reveal all. I'm sorry that hubby's recovery is going slow for him, but sometimes, slow is good. |
