Correct terminology/description

Please could someone tell me what is the correct description for a building that has a wooden boarded exterior.  I thought it was clap board, but I have also seen it described as weather boarded or siding or like this example - just boarded

I would refer to the above as 'weatherboarded'. Interesting question CathyML, we shall see what others have to say.

It's very common in West Kent and jusr over to border into East Sussex and is known as weatherboarding.   Clapboard seems to be used more in the New England states.

Tenterden is typical of what you'll find in Kent.
