It's over now, but it seem's it was quite a messy affair with the rain absolutely tipping down making for a very muddy celebration of music. Were you there, did you get any pictures that you can submit to POE?

I was last there back in the early 70s when Rod Stewart and The Faces came on at 2 AM to sing Maggie May; his latest hit---and no photos!!!

The Festival organisers had pumped some 1/4 million gallons of rain water off the site by Friday.  As some anticipated, Guns n Roses turned up an hour late and had their set cut short as they were told would happen.   But on Sat/Sun mornings when the festival goers passed where I work--99% in Wellington boots--many did look as though they'd spent an enjoyable weekend in the mud. Smile
