The Festival organisers had pumped some 1/4 million gallons of rain water off the site by Friday. As some anticipated, Guns n Roses turned up an hour late and had their set cut short as they were told would happen. But on Sat/Sun mornings when the festival goers passed where I work--99% in Wellington boots--many did look as though they'd spent an enjoyable weekend in the mud. |
