Everybody I think this week must be busy with the change over of the year in business matters perhaps, taking down the decorations and getting them put up for another year maybe. I'm doing that as it gets closer by the minute to my "painting" perhaps. I can't do the lower half the wall but I can down below and to my own height pretty much. I would love to try some techinques the decorators use in taping off squares( tall rectangles) on the wall and painting them an slightly different color ..I have an real light green to compliment an white background. Right now I'm still in healing mode from the shingles and waiting the out come on court duty...besides its only Jan 6th today..Each day I pick up an few areas here and there as I can. I am thinking with the expectation of possible wild weather ruining food crops this year... that maybe I should see if I can develop me some  garden windows.... to grow pots of fresh greens/herbals also. Mount some growing lights in the top of them...put them over my existing windows on the outside...and work with them inside with the existing window opened up half way. Its just an thought for now...but many people this year are saying its time to think abou organic growing for safety in your food products and availbilty if anything to drastic happens. I talked to the nephew whose whom was destroyed by an lighttening bolt back east...he says it went down his chimney and blow out his wood stove, which he had built an fire in and that's what caused his house to go up in flames so quickly. I have been back in his area and I'll tell you know...they have ligtheting rods on everything back there...from houses, to sheds, to chicken coops to dog houses.....this does not surprise me it happened in some ways. Much more of this kind of stuff and I think next year's challenge is going to be how we re-house the people?
