I'm sure you already know this..but just in case...and I'll keep it brief....out of Miami, Florida....Federal

authorites charged the nation's largest chain of mental health centers Thursday with Medicare Fraud.  Some

things bothered me about reading this...they are....the scam is nothing like they have ever seen before..many

of the top owners and operators of the business were arrested and served with search warrants. The company named American Therapeutic Corp. charged medicare with $200 million of services it never delivered...authorities are still investigating whether the company with held medication or just doctored up

the chart work....they also werre accused of giving Alheimer's and dementia patients treatments that because

of their mental capacity could not ever benefit from the therapy.(I wonder how much they charged the patient

familys also...that's who they go for after the Govt. refuses to pay for the billings usually)...one reason we want

health reform over here. Anyway...I leave it at that as Florida is an retirement community I thought you should

know about this. Word needs to get out...... so we can protect our elderly and ourselves.

We offer our elderly the same as our youngest babies over here in England. We all get excellent service, from excellent doctors and nurses, in excellent hospitals, and all free of charge. We then go home on subsidised buses (or free for the elderly and disabled).

We can also apply for a free europe wide health card that gives us the same medical rights as the population of that country while we are there......... all free.

I couldn't go to the US if i wanted to, no one will insure me. So far around 50 insurance companies have declined my custom.

We are currently having problems here on several levels....but we just don't

have nor never had that kind of paid health care over here...or at least very few of us...... I use to talk to an

gal that lived in Hawaii..married an man from Canada...moved there to be

with him....and she she tried to return to the states they denied her entry..having left as an American Born citzen..she like was at this for an

solid year getting her papers to come back in with her hubby to live here.

When we were in Canada "visting" they stopped us with our dog and made

us give her all new vaccinations before they would let us re-enter...and

that was many years ago during the World's Exposition in Vancouver, B.C.

They told us then, there's no problem leaving the US...it's getting back into it

Why I have no idea..but the illegals crossing borders and the terrorist don't

help the situation. They still cater to them though once they are inside of the

borders.... which gets everyone else stirred up. There's many hospitals

supposedly going down the tube from thier massive breeding tatics to have

naturlized born "American" children...at any rate those that pay taxes get

get to pay for their health care in the long run...even when we don't have it

ourselves. So goes I guess.
