Cathy....My stepdad could help but she may need a nurse to come in during the day. And she has friends and neighbors to keep watch too!!

She going home today. But she now has pneomnia and diabetes. *sigh* She holding her own though. Shes a tough cookie! Will be seeing her tomorrow.

Pneumonia is not good at anytime of life Krissy. Diabetes can normally be controlled, depends what type I suppose.

Praying that Mum will fight on for you all.

That is strange Krissy.  Earlier this year they wouldn't let Mike out until his something or another count (presumably something to do with the pneumonia infection) was at an acceptable limit.  Do hope that is the case with your Mum.  I'll be thinking of you all.

I guess they might be thinking there's less likelyhood of picking anything else up at home ...hospitals are full of sick people ...and all the germs that come with that!!

I have no clue anymore. They change their minds by the minute!!! And she had to learn how to give herself inslin injections!!!  Good thing shes an EMT!!  I am a bit worried. But she's still in good spirits.

Oh loads of people give themselves insulin, she'll be fine, gotta eat regulary now though or she'll end up hypoglycaemic!!
