They are getting ready to evacuate more people and suspect another 900 homes will be lost. There are several video's to watch also. I wanted to keep everyone informed on the situation...and thought this new thread might help get you to see this and what's going on...much more then just miles of homes water indaunted like last week. Prays are going out to those in Austrailia...remember materials things are not as important as are people...evacuate safely. |

Did you notice what was being said about the water flow....in most floods the water runs deep and steady downstream...this one..even though it had some characteristics of "flash flood" to it...also had water behaving like the aftermath of an incoming tusuami of all things. That's weird, and at 60 feet, can't be many "crocks" enjoying the ride. |

I can only give you our past expereinces in floods here to see if any of them can help others recover...and one of them was...we had so many acres under water killing huge cattle Dairies off one spring that the Rancher's Association that year asked any farmer's could afford to help... to allow one new seasonal extra off spring calf to be born, donated.. sent to the farmer's who were cleaned out of their cattle. Our flood was in Look Magazine as the President surveyed the scene of miles and miles of land under water and cattle laying about dead from drowing and bloated up near the coast in the town called "Tillamook"..known for their cheese factory. So maybe if you can grow and extra baby lamb or so.. and ship that to them on one big ship..it can help the Aussies out over there..at least in food supplies. What they are going to do for houses in water from the roof on downward is an big question...and they said the flooding is the size of both France and Germany together in land size...and another person said in an couple of days they are to have an cyclone cat 3 or what we call an hurricane to hit them, in already an devestated area. Where are the so called weather modifcators to eliminate it for them right now? |

It's an awful situation over there and I guess we should think ourselves very lucky here in the UK. Hard to imagine the destruction and there must be plenty asking why does God allow these sort of things to happen? |
