OK i will make a start with Statue

And a statue with some Dutch involvement. King William III, Prince of Orange. On the statue is a text in Dutch "Engelands vrijheid door Oranje hersteld"  - Englands freedom regain by Orange - Must have a picture somewhere to upload.

Hello Ted  -  good to see you.

The statue commemorates the landing of Prince William of Orange in Brixham on the 5th November 1688.  I think William and Mary were crowned jointly at Westminster Abbey on 11th April 1689.

I will take a picture when I am next at the harbour.

Hi Cathyml , a little more work required I am afraid. Don't forget Cornwall is one of my passions.

I think it may be a Chough on the Welcome to Cornwall sign.
