Who was it..Jackie Collins that has her office with her bathroom.... and does her work in the nude.... so she has to look at her body and take notice of it...she claims it helps keep her in better shape, but if you have the money an doctor can do "wonders" also....but then again..so can an easier lifestyle. I feel my best out in nature in the summer..cool breeze...camping. Gemini's are not to suited to be "house" people you know...for us it much like climbing an wall daily.... to stay at home. There's times we like the rest of returning to home, but it's not our sole nature at times. I guess one reason I ilke going over to the eastside of Mt. Hood and the Warm Springs Reservation....you can see for miles...have top notch service and see an panoramic view nighty of stars. If you get really bored they have an small cascino there also. Went to their campground one time...rented an tipi and tried to relive some of the things I'd read about them...ate grilled meat(beef) and Kolache' for dinner...fry bread. It was nice as this is not an primative park...it's got an olypmic swimming pool to the warm springs there. The other end has an huge Golf course also. Let it rain there in the summer and you smell the sage strongly also in the area. Often the smoke is smudged for "protection" all about you. Good book to read while doing this is Hyemhost's Storm's "Seven Arrows"....gets one into the theme of things. They have horse back riding and fishing there also. It's an lo tof open ground up above this canyon...semi-desert like of terrain. |

It generaly takes makin git around harvest time for an large crowd...as its fresh corn off the cobin its useage. Some people like to top it with shredded cheese. Grilled salmon goes well also as an side dish...and of course crushed berries for the fry bread...blueberries grow wild in this area but closer to Mt. Hood. An liitle bi tof it smoked with honey is good...I do the marinated beef in cube on wooden skewers. |

The Sergeant Major was showing him around the base camp. Not very impressed with the place he was going to spend the next six months, the young Officer asked '...and what do you do when you are feeling a bit frisky and missing your girl back home Sergent Major?' ' Eerm, well, some of the lads use the camel tied up behind the cookhouse, sir. he replied' Oh! replied the Officer with a shocked expression. After about three months dodging enemy bullitts the now 'battle hardened' young Officer was beginning to mis his girl badley, then, one darknight he 'bit the bullit' and went behind the cookhouse. Sure enough there was the camel. Fifteen minutes later the Sergent Major, whilst patroling the area, spotted the young officer 'intimate' with the camel. SIR! he raged, What on earth are you doing with that camel? Bbbbut you told me if I was feeling frisky to use the camel', said the Officer. YES SIR!!, but I meant the lads would use it to ride into the village! |
