A weeping willow hanging over a gentle English stream is fantastic,

but my favourite must be the ENGLISH OAK standing majesticaly in some ancient English forest, silent churchyard or green field. Its fine leaves hustling in the gentle breeze and come September as the autumn harvest is gathered in the great oak drops its seeds bearing their little caps, to be collected and stored for the coming winter by the native red squirrels

Think a weeping willow takes some beating!!   early morning, mist rising off the water, the sun streaming through the hanging branches and leaves!!  nice!!

I do love oaks too!!

I love aspens and a lovely native tree we have here in the desert called the palo verde.  But I always remember the horse chestnut tree in my grandma's yard, Sue, and all the chestnuts, or as they call them across the pond, conkers.
