My cat likes to take the portable radio ear plugs out of my ear and play with them at times late at night while I listen to "coast-to-coast",... they were alive last night talking to William Henry, the archeaologist, as he was taking his tour group out of the country. He said that Johnathan West also had a group there..some 1200 foreingers were being flown out...all communications were down, so I wonder if he had connections to help this guy..as he said that he'd call when he got back and "thanks" for the concern on his cell phone.. George Noory says his family is Lebanonese, but he was born in Cario...and then came to America as an small kid..his dad worked over there. It was an interesting show last night. They said it is an country of 40 per cent young people...with about an 70 per cent unemployment rate right now...the kids are demanding "change" for their livabilty...population is 80 million. He had a good freind on last night that was telling us how it was at "street" level. in the minds of people over there...and what he knew was going on from talking to others. If you go to coasttocoastam.com...you can hear him from the web site...he is in 550 countries worldwide..and all over the USA on local affilates...he took over for "Art Bell" when he semi-retired.

As for my cat goes...he could use an "playmate" at times...he sits on the back of my sofa and makes " eyes" at the little squirrel outside hitting the bird seed for an snack these winter days.

Lol @ Shirley. My cat, Salem, likes to look out the window and "make eyes" at the birds and squirrels too. I call it "watching the news"! Lol.

My birds this year have been taking an beating and a half in being moved constantly from wall to wall and room to room as I work on the house. Ruby has never talked as well as he did when " Princess" was alive also...and yellow cockatiel.  He's still good for blowing me kisses and bouncing up and down on my finger with the radio wanting to "party"....oh yes, he's quite the party bird. He's taken to "fathering" the three canaries that set next to his cage...so now there's one crimson red bird with royal blue wings...and three canaries with the black markings on blue, turquiose and green with yellow. Yes, my cat lounges on top of the cages, but he's to smart to tangle with "Ruby"...so are the grandkids.... and the adults some days. He usually doesn't go balistic on anythng to much, but bring out my heart medication bottles and he goes wild attacking them..and I don't mean playing with them either. I mean trying to destroy them,  I don't know why....he could of used an female "friend" also..but I had to explain that I couldn't afford her...probably an adult prostitute would be easier to get ahold and cheaper to pay then an bird species like he is. Last pair of mated "lory's" I found that had been "hand fed" as babies... which means they were trained to talk...were $3,000. Lory's are an small sub-speces of an parrot. He looks more like an red raven kind of..in size and looks...but the brilliant colored feathers. There was an research lab had an bird like him that they taught the entire dictionary to and they feel in love with him I guess...before they left that day he told them ..bye..love you and see you in the morning...well for some reason he died overnight...and they were quite heart broken over it...they become quite the companions if they talk " english". One day I was trying to impress him so I was whistling an little soft song to him, he looked up at me and warbled the most presious sounding song I'd ever heard come out of an bird. One he knew I couldn't imitate back to him also!
