That place is more amazing than you could imagine. We do seem to make good period dramas over her for TV or film and in March onwards, they'll be back at Highclere for a second series. One of their neighbors who land adjoins there's is also pretty famous too---Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber to the east of the castle in his stately home near Watership Down which he also owns. |

I was going to ask if it was shown on Sundays as my Google Earth photo of Highclere Castle has been getting an extraordinary number of views on Sundays. And why not enjoy our drink in a nice 16th century Midsomer pub? Picture by Paul Hilton |

I've not been around lately because I'm swamped. I really have to squeeze an hour here and there of computer time into the time budget these days. Most of the time, I simply stay off the computer because I've so much more I need or want to get done away from it. So I decide that I'll get everything else done and then go on for an hour or two. But by the time I do everything I'm supposed to get done, that leaves NO time for computer. But I love this site and will always check in as often as I can. Cathy E - you hang in there, kiddo. I think about you and remember you in my prayers every day.
