Hi Vince, I wondered if you would swoop in for the kill! -  unfortunately that brilliant piece of observation is incorrect.

OK The St George's Cross (can take that off my list of "C"s).

And the answer is...........................................................................

not - The tall white column or the colonnade with the archways -  it is the

.........................................................................................................

Crenellations on the top of the church tower and roof. 

As Vince was the closest with his castellations I think I he should go next. 

Crenellations and castellations both are words for the battlement but castellations is the word used when you wish the building to look like a castle and I don't think the church was intended to look like a castle. There's a bit of trivia to go with the I Spy.
