I've not been single in so long, I just wouldn't know how to go about it. lol Hiya doin, Krissy? James, it's also 10 hrs. Phoenix to Heathrow. Grueling, esp. the way BA packs you on the plane. When someone tells you something private or controversial or juicy gossip, and then swears you to secrecy, do you have "just one person" that you know you can tell and they won't spill the beans?

I have a clam for a husband - he doesn't even mention when our children phone! lol, so I might mention it to him! (Probably go in one ear and out the other anyway!) LOL If you knew your best friend's husband was cheating on her - would you tell her? (For the guys if would refer to your best friends wife cheating!) |
Ruth Gregory Posts: 8072 Joined: 25th Jul 2007 Location: USA | Posted at 19:38 on 21st February 2011 I'm good, too, Krissy. Nice to see you in person for a change. Or should I say in real time. Usually when I'm here there's nobody else around. Cathy, I think it would depend on the circumstances. If they had a reasonably happy marriage, I just might take the husband aside to tell him the game's up and what the h*** is he doing? But if their marriage was already in the toilet, because of his mistreatment of her, I'd tell her in a heartbeat and it would just be another reason for her to get rid of the loser. If he had a girlfriend because his wife mistreated him, I guess I'd just look the other way and let people's behavior allow the chips to fall where they may. It's one of those gut feeling things that you have to listen to - when to speak and when to keep your mouth shut. Did you ever go canoeing?

I did go on the water slide at Center Parcs a couple of years ago and my grandchildren were in hysterics! What extreme sport would you like to have a go at? |
