Primrose.  When I was young we used to pick them to decorate the church at Easter.  I had a prize once for picking the most - 25 primroses and 1 leaf in a bunch.  It's an offence to pick them now, sadly.

Do you like to have flowers in the house?

I live in a flat and only have a shared garden, which is not very big, so I don't use it often (think I may be a bit anti-social) lol.  Also have to be a bit careful as I had a malignant melanoma a few years ago.

Do you eat al fresco often?

Mostly when we go out to lunch, most cafes/restaurants have large outdoor dining areas.

Oh, last time I lost my freezer full of food..rather then have to dump it out...I sat out front BBQ-ing it  and frying much of it to hand out to the neighborhood that day... rather then throw it out...due to spoilage... Rev. Bailey came by and introduced his family to us all also. As it turned out..it was July 4th that day. As asked him to have the Lord impart me with some "strength" to keep at it...he grabbed my hand and felt like an surge of electricity parted between us. We sent out the door at the end of the day in all directions. He watched the fireworks going  off all over and said to me in an low voice...I could so much good for families that need it... if  they'd only give up the cost of 1/3 of the fireworks they set off. He's right as an all night display can be an thousand dollars easy these days.

I grow in my back yard...long stemmed pink roses.  I like all flowers though.

When was the last time you went to an laser light show?..and where.

Wow!  I really had to wrack my brains for this answer.  Quite some years ago we went to a Jean Michel Jarre light show at The Lost City near Rustenburg in South Africa.  It was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Thanks for kicking that memory back again Shirley.

What historical building/monument have you been most impressed with?

Yes I remember the ration books, and I used to get extra clothing coupons for having big feet!  LOL    No, I wouldn't like to go back to those days.

Have you ever taken part in a play or a musical?  Maybe at school?
