Did you like the Doc Martin series, Ruth? It's great! Port Isaac will be our holiday destination coming September.

We've been there in 2003 and have seen these guys performe.

I love it, Ted and so does my husband.  They just started showing it here about a month ago.  We visited Bude, but that was as far as we got in Cornwall.  The show brings back memories of the trip.

You're so lucky, Ted!  What a great place for a holiday.  That's what must be so great about living in Europe.  You've got all these wonderful countries (including yours) within a few hours flight of one another.  Must be nice.....

The mystery of Doc Martin is what on earth does Louisa see in that guy?  lol

St Patrick was a Romano-Briton and Christian missionary, who is the most generally recognized patron saint of Ireland When he was about 16 he was captured from Britain by Irish raiders and taken as a slave to Ireland, where he lived for six years before escaping and returning to his family. After entering the Church, he returned to Ireland as an ordained bishop in the north and west of the island, but little is known about the places where he worked.
By the seventh century he had come to be revered as the patron saint of Ireland.
