Hi guy's. I am feeling a bit better now. After my stint in hospital,I was definately not up to much. I didnt realize that pneumonia was so painfull or took so long to get over. I thought I was off to meet my maker this time.

Thanks to all of you who emailed me. You kept my spirits up and kept me sane.

I went out Saturday for  the first time in months. Boy did we pick the wrong day. It was so cold and overcast it was like going out in the evening on a winters day. I took a few photos, not very good due to the weather, but I tried. I have posted some on here even though they are a bit rubbish.

Wow!  Hi Peter, how great to see you and I am so glad you are on the mend.  My husband went through the same thing last year and he also thought he was about to leave the world.  It has taken him almost a year to get back to almost normal but I don't think he will get back to the way he was, it takes such a toll of your energy.

What a shame the weather wasn't kind to you yesterday!  Did you see you are a featured photographer this month?  You will see how much members appreciate your photos on the thread.

I am really looking forward to seeing you on the threads and submitting your pics again.

So glad to hear that you are up and about, Peter. I hope that you continue to gain strength by the day. I'm sure the nasty weather wasn't nice, but just being able to go outside must have been a great boon. I swear fresh air is a life-saver sometimes.

Keep on trucking, we're here for you.

Peter good to see you..ah yes..pneumonia was an second near death expereiince for me...and from ever since then I sleep sitting up in bed...but it keeps the lungs drained daily. Rain can be expected in the changing of the seasons at times.

Well, thanks to all volunteer help..sales from T-shirts and pizza and sold out concert tickets...performed for free also.."From Oregon with Love" will be sending our friends in Japan $250,000 for food an supplies.....and in 2010 they sent Haiti's earthquake victims $160,000....amazing what people can do when they get together for an good cause. .

Sally..take my word for it...from now on it will be an every day "thing"your hubby will be working at.... to keep and maintain his health. They say once you have made it over the 3 year mark afterwards...your pretty well back to no problems...but you work every day at it just the same. My brother in-law's sisters husband had 8 stents and three by pass surgeries...what killed him was cancer, despite hi sknown heart problems..yep..creeped up on him and took him out some months later We live in an wild world these days any more...hope for the best...live to the fullest possible, I was 95 per cent dead when I had my blocked artery... found and repaired. A lot of what they use to do is now obsolete thanks to tissue culture..they simply inject your own healthy cells back to grow new arteries and and strengthen ones that are weak...as if your were an baby all over again. It amazes me to some of the stories coming out on this work these days. Don't forgeet his daily dose of tumeric also...an miracle drug/ herb that's 3,000 years old...now clinically proven.

Hello Peter, I too have been missing for quite a while for health reasons and so I did'nt know you were ill. I'm so glad to hear your on the mend and I'm looking forward to hearing from you and seeing your new pics. Just remember at times like this you need to make yourself number one until you're fully well again. Thinking of you.
