            I'm here, I'here !!!!

                          Frog/ Froging. decorative, looped and braided fastening, usually on military uniforms. Can also be on a belt to support a sword or scabbard.

                No!! The honour must go to my wife, she looked at it for a while and just came out with the answer, she does love history along with my daughter (they are both nuts for the past- wife is the Tudor one and daughter is the medieval fanatic). Said it came probably from dress patterns, she has made lots of costumes for one twelfth dolls.
