Just watching a re-run of Britains Got Talent (on last night apparently). Boy have they got a recipe for disaster, what a load of cobblers!

What a patronising set of Judges too, absolute rubbish!

One thing is certain, we won't be watching it again.

What do you think members?

I don't like reality show in general, Ron. Actually, there is only one that I watched and liked it enough to watch again and that's "Sinbad's Family Affair". I have always loved Sinbad's comedy and this show doesn't disappoint!

The reason reality TV has caught on so well is that TV producers have caught on to the fact that reality TV sells ads and you don't have to pay a lot of high priced actors.  Most of them are a load of cobblers, Ron.

I'm the odd man out on this one. I like some of the reality shows. Right now I'm watching Dancing with the Stars. I watched the X Factor when I was in England. I was enjoying that, but lost track of who won after I got home. Last time on America's Got Talent there was a 9 year old girl who was a musical prodigy. She had an amazing operatic voice. Beautiful. Agreed, though, a lot of other acts were rubbish, but occasionally there's a gem among them. It's mainly the music related shows that I watch, not the Jersey Shore type. Not sure if you have something comparable to that in England. It's a bunch of 20 somethings living together, drinking and partying. Not entertaining at all.

Hi Brenda.  Yes, there are a couple of shows with some redeeming qualities, like Undercover Boss or Extreme Makeover.

I those, too, Ruth. I forgot the cooking shows. Even though I'm not a cook, I like to watch Next Food Netword Star and the Gordon Ramsey shows. I guess I watch more reality shows than I thought:)

And let's not forget those extremely talented and woefully underpaid stars of Jersey Shore.

Oh, yes, Bob. Poor Snooki et al held out for more money and got it! Wow. I read that they were supposed to film in Italy, but Italy doesn't want them.
