   Hi Folks, sorry for the delay, we have had a loss of broadband and phoneline all Friday evening.

Anyway, you are asking for a hint or two! I did not think this one was going to be difficult but at the same time it is very hard!!!

                       IT IS GRANITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                          Only I was originally thinging of the granite in the blckhouse that is constructed of slate and granite. Did you know there was once another blockhouse accross the water and heavy rope was raised stretching between the blockhouses creating a barrier over the water to protect the harbour.

          So Cathyml, it is back to you (hope you head is not to sore banging against a granite wall) and where was Ron? He said I was likely to set an awkward I-spy, but I missed any of his guesses.

Sorry Vince, just removed a whole let of extra space under your post.
