  No James, this is a historical quizzy based on the name of a cider, in fact the cider is named after the gentleman concerned even though he died c. 1176 ad.

 Oh so well done Karen , you are spot on in all respects. I had to do this one as some members of POE were making jibes about me and (hic) cider ! The other motivation is that Richard de Clare is on my wife and daughters family tree and my daughter has her head in medieval times due to this and other connections which go back pre Norman conquest times.   Good show Karen and over to you now.
