C. breaking out windows and setting cars on fire, looting and what not else. I said it was wrong...and got told I don't know what I'm talking about and too old on top of it all.... and don't make any "sense" these days. They called this crowd an bunch of "punks"...they all looked over 21 years old to me...adults that know better. I really don't care one way or the other who won the game....I just thought that those doing this kind of stuff need to pay for what they broke considering the budgets of cities and towns these days. About 10 years ago our insurance company sent us out some new rules...they refuse to pay in the cause of riot or vandlism. They didnt' either...when someone stole my son's ATV...which he still owed $600 on. It was parked behind our fence in the backyard. They took two bikes also, one that was an specialty bike we had gotten for our son when he was younger...so I'm thinking that maybe the town and statium probably didn't' need this at all. So...do you guys think these times...it's wrong to make an stand... and say something is wrong to do? Opinion please.... |

In fact I would expect the mature adult to do just that, but you mention these were adults! What is the world coming to? No respect for life or limb, property or feelings, disgraceful. It's a pity we 'old uns' aren't given the opportunity to dish out an appropriate sentence to these 'yobs' in an attempt to teach them how it was in the 'old days' and how we expect them to behave in society today. That said, if it were to even look like happening the do-gooders would be up in arms declaring freedom of speech, human rights act etc. The system today stinks and the sooner the powers that be sort them out, the better! Will it happen? I doubt it... |

I know people love sports but this is not the way....and its been getting to common world-wide...I guess that we should be glad that they didn't take it out on people themselves. Because of their age...I wondered if this " serve an drink" going on during the games might of had anything to do with it all. but others tell me, they were there for trouble to begin with...street crowd that had been partying and watching the game televised on an huge TV somewhere.. I have seldom been to an all day family reunion where liquor was served... that someone didn't end up in an fight or argument with one of the other family guests over something. As for taking an stand...if you don' t then your saying what's going on is "acceptable" to you in my standards. I chilled out myself by going to your "Englsih Countryside" photo's here in POE...Thanks!.... I see now you can buy images...when I get done with some of the family lines back in England it would make an nice family album to include some of their whereabouts over there in England with those photos. Maybe next winter I can work on that one. |

Unfortuately there are idiots everywhere and that's what these people are - idiots. Fortunately for our species, they are in the small minority.
