Again sorry, Ron, but I enjoy Wimbledon, too. And apologies to Ruth, but I do love watching American football although my team, the Oakland Raiders, has been in the pits for too long now. Now watching golf is another story.............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. To each his own I guess:) Just wondering, has there been anything in the British press about Serena Williams and her sister not being placed on Centre Court at Wimbledon? There's been some going on about it over here.

Both Anna and I are actually, finally, making some progress Brenda thank you, but it's been a long haul and not something that we would wish on anyone, not even our James! lol

At least where I live in the US, Wimbledon has always been rather a big deal. When they preempt regular television programming for it, it must be something special. I've watched it since I can remember which is a very long time:)

What do you feel about the ladies' grunting Brenda?  Isn't it annoying?

Like the US players attitude at Wimbledon (sport in general i suppose) to win is everything, to come 2nd is to lose. British attitude is 'Oh well there's always next year'. At least Murray has a bit of that attitude.
