The forums have blown me to bits tonite...so busy, but great fun We've been to Cornwall several times and genuinely love it, Unfortunately Her Majesty's Government has put certain financial restrictions on that sort of distance now. Fuel prices ! ! ! But we do intend to return someday. For the last 3 years we have stayed in a cottage in Ambleside which is fairly central for most of the Lakes. Don't hesitate to ask for any tips. I will have the laptop with me so daily updates can be expected.

Yes the Beatrix Potter connection is what sparked the whole thing off, my wife and daughter are card crafters and Beatrix Potter has been one of their latest themes for the cards and one thing led to another. |

It will give me something to do while Anne is getting herself sorted in the bathroom for 2 hours each morning ! ! ! 3 or 4 evenings are spent eating out and visiting our favourite hostelries. Will be just leaving the pub this time next Saturday, got the key to the cottage already so it just can't come quick enough now. Work hard enough for it ! ! ! Next association is Engine Houses such magnificent monuments Edited by: Dave John at:25th June 2011 23:10 |
