If you could read the book I am now..none of you would be sleeping until the wee hours of the morning. I feel like I've travelled the world in several different time warps into today's times and been to several different countries already also. So far they've had arrows blown at them, spears stabbed at them, tusuami waves in coming, attempted killing every other page...thrown out into the Gobi desert to wander, they've attacked the enemy forces with an forklift, went down an waterfall cliff in an motorcycle with an side car...it just never seems to stop and I'm about 2/3 of the way through the book now. And drink...I mean everyone's is hitting their bottle to relax what time they get the chance to do it.  Probably raised Vodka on the "stock market" an bit higher....laughs*

Clive Cussler book..."Treasue or Khan"...it started out with Gheghis Khan  in 124 dying ..and the next chapter went into some archeologist's  finding what was and silk cloth may of had his secret burial on an map...then it goes to the now times...with him  and his NUMA team surveying the bottom of Lake Baikal, when thier equiptment picks up an under ground eathquake that causes an tususami wave...well, they go across the lake trying to warn ships to get out of the wave of this 35 foot wave, one boat doesnt' response and apparenlty has no radio...they go out in person to try to save them....and the story begins. Those people were mapping the Lake bottom for possible  reported oil well leaks...adn possible drllling fields alter on...but much espionage going on worldwide also...and the family of Gehgis Khaun may be involved. It's an fiction book set to today's era and an bi tof Indiana Jones with ourhero Dirk Pitt and his freinds.

Mr. Cussler renovates old cars...but he had an old trailer he renovated that is exactly the same type as is setting in my back yard...he used it in one of his stories also...he sometimes puts himself in the book as some kind of an helper to Dirk Pitt briefly also. On the back cover of this book he's shown with an son (?) named Dirk Cussler...and an 1928 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. Both men live in Arizonia in real life. Numa stands for Navy Underwater Marine Association or some such and it's an private surveying team that looks for lost sunken ships, and maps the ocean bottom and solves an lot of problems for the world in general with people wanting to take over our world. They have authored separately or together 30 other novels,,some fiction and some non-fiction.
