I'll be singing "For he's an jolly good fellow" with the rest of the guys tonight...keep you all in an cheery mood. Today's newspaper article...coming from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota....ridding people of their senescent cels, the mice's tissues showed an major improvement in the ususal burden of age related disorders. They did not develope cataracts, avoided the usual wasting of muscle with age, and could excerise longer on treadmills...they retained the fat layers under the skin usually thin out with old age causing wrinkles, stopped many problems such as arthritis in the joints and older age diseases. Researchers are now working on an drug that will help wash the cells out of our bodies daily in hopes to improve the art of aging in humans. (Ron, same kind of therapy as what my doctor has asked me to do with water and continual all day long mild doses of vitamins..he says that most older people don't always absorb vitamins as well as when they were younger, and they get washed out of their bodies before they can be utilized...so if you have an slow and low release of them going on daily as you "wash your system out"..using water and sugar free juices...your healthier) |
