I think my english is fairly good but I don't understand this one.

What does someone mean if he/she mails ' lurves the hoff ' ?

I have a nasty suspicion that it means someone loves David Hasselhoff. Can't for the life of me think why this should be but then, people can be weird!!!!

The only thing I can think of is someone love (lurves) David Hasselhoff or someone with the hoff in the surname.

Really, I'm sure means more, but thats about as much as I can come up with.

In what context was this used?

I think Andy, James and Sue are correct Patrick. Try to read this as it is typed and hopefully you will understand why we all think this way.

From the point of view of anybody saying 'She really loves the Hoff' as in David Hasslehoff it would be something like this... "She really luuurovsa the hoff". You need to drag out the 'luuurovsa' bit, but like Andy suggests can't understand why!

Does that make sense or are we all daft? lol

A tiny amendment to the car's name of KITT, derived from Knight Industries Two Thousand. Smile
