Among the first movies i went to were these two - which made a huge impact on me at the time! 1. Ben Hur 2. Bridge on the River Kwai I think for the third one it will have to be a musical because I love the music and generally they are much happier films to watch! 3. Oklahoma or Seven Brides for Seven Brothers!! |

So I remember movies like "Wizzard of Oz"...and I mean to tell you, that wicked witch of the west scared me half to death as an little kid...but we also got to see "Ben Hur"..Gone with the Wind....who can forget "Godzilla" stomping through the city...all those "Elvis" movies also like "Blue Hawaii"....."West Side Story"....Breakfast at Tiifaney's...."Three Coins in the Fountain"....lots of westerns with John Wayne in them...."Sound of Music"....and an host of never to be famous flicks. I took an whole gang of little kids to see 101 Dalmations one summer. Of course lately it's been the Chronicles of Narnia. |
