This is the time of the year when for most people, they are indeed trying to at least maintain things. I have some dental surgery coming up here soon also, I'm trying to upgrade my health for that...I had an sinus problem so they posted pone it again. 112 tornadoes have touched down the first three days of March, killing 39 yesterday and 31 when it started and they are still digging out in the mid-west. The little toddler died this weekend...it had taken her 10 miles and dumped her in an field..she died of brain injury, and for her she's now with her entire family...they died also in an mobile home. The storms are bad enough, but the people that don't prepare for such things, knowing nature in this area...I simply don't understand. I guess for the most part these hit in the night time. The little girl was with her grandfather this weekend hoping she's make it through it all...but Nada...it didnt' work out. I was up until something like 3:34 AM proof-reading my 118 pages of material I wrote last week. before and after the babysitting going on from our snow storm going through. So today is another kind of rest day for me during the day time. I'm still not done writing as of yet...but have some materials to look up. Thanks Ron, for the suggestion, my problem of course is I can't get to the area to close out the window...for the taskbar. Messing around last night...I took my icon out for getting on the internet also...ugh! I keep saying for me there's the need of an old manual typewriter...not to mention I can back pack with it to remote areas and use it and not have to worry if I have a wireless server, and if I have electricity also....as most the time, I don't. up around Mt. Hood. Everything kind of hits me, the news, the work, and my health and I get tired..so I suppose that is why I sound sad to you...but I'm not..just tired and comtemplative...and saying prayers to lessen our sorrows with the storms. So will go for now...and see what I can get into around here. I guess I have about three more weeks of the mid-week babysitting to do and then she's out of the college class maybe......talk later on. I can not sustain computer problems on top of health issues monetarily.... they have to go. There are 9 Billion other people out in the world you know that can help also. People have to understand I am Social Security...and that I have no imvestments to fall back on otherwise....and simply accept it for what that means...an very tight budget. The things I buy right now are meant to be used for many an year ahead, that is why I am buying them..I hope when with prices lower now then the days ahead. I bought this latest round of computers so in case we needmore money we can maybe find an way to work from home. Plus to use in "scouts" for trainging purposes if needed also. they were not just an whim of an "want"... over the need for them. I still am not done as yet either, because I need an scanner also...but it goes to the side.. if I have to keep constantly going to someone for help to run it....and have to pay them. I don't know if Micheal has the knowledge to help me or not...works with my son. Part of my problem is I didn't get an instruction booklet with it either...they have an key to plug into the company for help instead...and an assistant, but I can't get on line to do that because I lost my icon button to the internet. They don't think very well these days for the massive things computers do....on the simpliest things that you need to help yourself. I really think that they should of never let email servers not have an workable home base phone number also to contact them.... there's the basic problem of the security issues the industry has with all their problems of identity/inpersonation/and hacking. I was told that the virus in myold computer culd skip around an hide itself...and so no doubt why I could plug in my password on the old email account and I would come back and find it changed every day...an not be able to get in. Without an email...I can't get feedback from others either...and something whoever knew...may they rest in Hell...at least get back what they sent out. No, only Jesus was "forgiving" as they sent him to the gallows...I'm not Jesus. So do unto yourself buddy...what you pass out to others. Gesh..I go for now. |
