(the) BOOKS poss a bit too apt. Thanks for the comment Dave, that was just a dull grey sky and one or two odd spots of rain but very high humidity. Using the flash to highlight the plant darkened the sky. Guess what , out of 12 shots taken yesterday 10 are now file error already on the camera, the Samsung will have to go at this rate, just glad it was not a purchase. Yes, the Samsung is certainly an iffy bit of gear, certain functions like timer, manual focus,smart zoom,and a couple of other things as well as the card reading ( they still read on the computer) are all not working properly, yet as you can see it will still take a reasonable shot on auto or "p".
