Posts: Joined: 1st Jan 1970 | My 3 month old printer developed a fault. I returned it to Comet. They said go and phone Canon and sort it with them. In other words, sod off. They even lied about Trading Standards letting them do that !!! I have of course spoken to Trading Standards about this who agree they cannot tell me to go away. Let me teach you something about printers / velocity / glide path. Trouble is that I cannot explain time / speed ratios and angle of glide path..........what I do know it that the impact created sound waves. It did cure the acne being suffered by a member of staff. The red spots turned white as the white face turned red. I am now banned from Comet. As if I would want to spend more money there !!!!!!!! The manager said it was an assault. Should one take salt or sugar with one's porridge ? If you want any cheap mail bags then please email - about 2016 should do. |

On one occasion it was also regarding an item that was faulty but returned the same day, in fact just a couple of hours after the purchase, and they tried to blame us for creating the problem! I also contacted Trading Standards and won the day, but they really are an awful bunch to deal with, and for me one of the most annoying stunts they pull is to try to sell additional insurance cover, when in fact you can probably get the items covered on your house contents policy.

Posts: Joined: 1st Jan 1970 | I only wanted a little printer repaired. Comet have converted this request in to the unleashing of hell. I will dedicate my life to bringing down the establishment on their unworthy heads. From this we deduce : (1) I like the "Medusa Touch" and the words of Richard Burton. (2) Re the above : I would have loved Lee Remick, if I was him, not let her bash his brain in. (3) I sure ain't happy with Comet. (or Cameron, Ant & Dec and the Jedward creatures ) (4) Ron. Would you kick Lee Remick out of bed for Suzanah Reid. Subject to Lee Remick still being alive of course ? |

In case you are not aware Ron is a Suzanah fan and has made comments in the past, what we use to call a sense of humour. Never mind. If I can lose money, warn others about Comet, and try to inject some humour then thats me done. If I have upset you, and / or you are devoid of humour then that is not a concern for me, more pressing matters etc. Not on here often so no loss if I quit. The web is called "world wide", not James centered. |

Remember we are all entitled to an opinion and James is a friend to us all, who has voiced his opinion, so accept it! I certainly have shown my support for Suzzanah Reid, but who is Lee Remick? |

Doubt if she needed any tattoo to ward off hook boys mates in those days, anyway, she was American. People in London say there was a complaint made last Friday. The morning ringing of bells for the Olympics nearly drowned out the call to prayers. One lot heard the bells, nearly jumped out of their skin, and dropped the prayer mats in a puddle. Did see Eastenders last week. One was told that as he cannot eat during daylight hours due to ramadanadingdon he should sit in a small room and close the curtains !
Ron. Accepting an opinion means making no reply to it ? I only made a comment in the first place so could James not accept that ? It works both way |
