Anna bought four 15x330 ml packs of Pepsi Max which contained half empty, or half full (whichever you want) costing about £28. I emailed Britvic and told them about it and they said thanks for letting us know, have a voucher for £2.50 which from a Company as big as that I think is an insult. However, they are now in the POE List for Good or Bad Service Thread for people to make up their own mind.

Used to use them 37 years ago before we moved away but went back last night and had a great meal from them, same excellent quality, same family running the business. Thumbs up for Shanghai in Headington! |

At the checkout I mentioned it, the 'runner' checked it and said yes that's what it says! I have the receipt to prove it should anybody doubt my post.

They pack each ink cartridge so that the Postie can push it through the letterbox, thus no taking it back to the Post Office if you happen not to be in. A big Thumbs Up for 'Just Ink and Paper' in Guernsey. |

Up to recently, it was simply calling up, tap the option number for who you want to speak to and after a shortish wait, the phone was answered. Those days seem to have gone now. two calls to them today and after 52 minutes on hold, I gave up. Tried a few hours later when after 40 minutes on hold I gave up. if you have to get in contact with HMRC, I would suggest any alternate method before using the phone. I did find a form on Gov.uk to fill in about my tax code issue. Their auto responder emailed back to say I'll hear back within the next 15 days for a problem that could have been dealt with on the phone in two minutes if they can ever answer it after they put you on hold? Foolishly, I thought it might be easy to do online, but when I tried to do it, I was asked to submit identity verification through 'a certified company'. See link here Surely in these days of identity theft, it seems folly for the government to farm out identity checks to a commercial organisation? So I decided not to try. In the event, I resorted to providing the information by post, even though it was a pointless task, since I do not receive Tax Credits. I wonder how much effort is wasted by HMRC collecting information which they already have from P60's etc for useless exercises such as this.
