Hello all.

I had my appointemnt today and I am scheduled for surgery next Friday, Nov 23rd.

Right now I feel physically well and very upbeat. The love and support of everyone, including my wonderful POE family, really makes a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference. How can I not come out of this well, when there is so much love and caring amoung friends.

I will continue to request your thoughts and prayers, especially on Friday. We'll cross the bridge of what comes afterwards when the pathology report comes in.

I thank you again from the very core of my being.

I wish I could Peggy, but sadly because the cancer is blocking the bowel, I am on a liquid diet (I've been wanting to lose weight)

Again, I thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. I'll have my trusty i'pad with me in the hospital, and as long as they let me use it, I will be posting updates as soon as I feel up to it.

Hi Sue! Although I have been in touch in through other means I thought it important to bring you back to the top. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the USA. I can't think of a better time than to tell you how greatful I am for your friendship. I think you are a very lovely lady and love you lots. xoxoxoxo

My prayers continue to go out to you, your family and all the medical personnel who will touch your life not only Friday but for the next several months. I hope you can put the worry aside for tomorrow and have a lovely day relaxing. Elsie and I will be all by ourselves but plan on having a fun day dispite not being able to have the big family gathering I always dream of. As they say "Keep Calm and Carry On!" Maybe watch a bunch of "Carry On" films or something as equally funny. Laughter and love are the best medicines ever. Kiss

Dear Sue, I am so sorry to hear of this news.  Please know that my thoughts are with you and my prayers winging their way Heavenward for your complete recovery and healing, as only our Lord and Savior can do.  I feel blessed to count you among my friends, regardless of never having met you in person.  You are a wonderful, sweet lady.  God bless you.
