Ron Brind Posts: 19041 Joined: 26th Oct 2003 Location: England	quotePosted at 10:55 on 14th January 2013 I have just received the devastating news that Syd Harling passed away last week Monday. Syd's son Stuart has written to me personally, as well as POE admin to let us know of his Dads passing. Chris and Sarah asked if I would announce this sad news to the POE members, as Anna and I had met with Syd in June last year whilst he was on vacation here in the UK. We had dinner together and became good friends. This is such a shock, words almost fail me. Such a nice guy, we are so sorry Stuart and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you dear friends. I should of course have mentioned Syd's other son Duncan - brother to Stuart in this announcement. We are thinking of your Dad you guys - a special man, a good friend, just so sorry for you.
