Iwas a regular visitor to the I  O  M IN in the 50s it really was the place to go then, the highlight of the week was going up Snaefel on the tram.

I havent been for many years now but i am informed it is very expensive to stay for a week-at one time you could get a cheap day return from Liverpool but even that is expensive now.Smile

We're going to come back in England for 2 weeks in August.

We haven't yet a precise itinerary but I think we'll visit the North and Yorkshire (I hope so!).

I can't wait!!

You must come and see Yorkshire Laughing

Peggy my husbands family originated on the IOM, we found out because of the spelling of our surname. We have not been there yet, keep thinking we really should visit, looks a wonderful place.

Estepona, Spain in June for some sunshine and the odd tincture. Cool

Might return to The Isle Of Man later in the year, coffers allowing. Great place to take the camera and we just love the place. Mrs. B. is Manx.

Isle of Man would probably be my 2nd or 3rd choice after the Lakes. Used to go a few times a year late 70's early 80's for the various car rallies, not forgetting 2 TT visits as well.......A Truly magical place
