Mary Frances Penick (aka) Skeeter Davis an American Country Music singer.

I love her singing 'The End of the World' and the flip side 'Somebody Loves You'.

What about you members, any songs that bring back memories? I bet there are loads!

Plenty favorites--where to start.

one of my all time favorites is Kitty Kallen singing  little things mean a lot i go for the 40s and 50s music-i think the songwriters and artists put more in to the music compared to the later composers.

Frankie Laine singing Woman in Love.Smile.

  Ronnie James Dio.

A very small person but a giant and the voice of rock, sadly no longer with us but his music plays on.

My late brother in law did the rounds with a few very famous 'big band' players James.

He played the trumpet down Mississippi way and talks of shooting rats with an airgun in the holds of ships enroute
