Thanks Shirley & Richard Laughing

Having a great time, the weather is fantastic, not a cloud in the sky, bit nippy though in the wind. The Golden Rule is everything Dave describes, a good old fashioned pub with a log fire, no TV, no music, people reading newspapers and books, or just having a good old chin wag. No having to shout to make yourself heard. Will be back there again tonight, until then I've hundreds of photo's to upload and sort, some (not all) should be appearing on POE soon.

Oh and no hangover this morning James Wink

If you feel the need for food Ruth, the Unicorn just a few down the lane does excellent bar meals between 7 and 9. The steaks are superb and the trout is one of my favourites. Worth a visit. Also the Royal Oak in the village good selection beers but usually very busy

But i can't think of a better way to finish off biorthday celebrations than spending some quality time in the Golden RuleTongue out
