As Co Founder of NABM (no longer trading) I warned of this back in 1990 through to 1992 - not specifically Santander but all banks, having extablished at the time that the banks were cheating one in four of us. We determined that they were not adjusting their rates in line with the Bank of England base rate at the correct time and neither were they charging the correct rate! This was proven with the help of a colleagues (other Co Founder of NABM) interest checking software called 'Intcheck' which started an interest checking service boom that charged a commission for a number crunching excercise, but more often than not resulted in some huge refunds. I say simply "serve's you greedy b ankers right", now pay up with interest! Edited by: Ron Brind at:25th April 2013 08:38 |
