So they have an long history on this side of the pond, as well as on the other side also. They may of went as some of the first into Austraila also. I took my sister-in-law (who has dementia) out for lunch yesterday and she was having one of her better days, so that was really nice to see, and she seemed to really enjoy herself. Today I had coffee with one friend at the pub (yes, it really was coffee!!) and lunch with five other friends, after which I indulged in a little retail therapy with some birthday money. This evening I'm being entertained with various phone calls, etc. from grandchildren who are all in different parts of the country now. Still can't believe I'm so ancient!! LOL!
